Hey guys. It seems that the forums are pretty ... ummm... dead. Which seems an odd thing for an event that requires posting in order to complete.... but who's being rational here anyway? ;)

Sooooo ... since the place seems rather deserted, I thought perhaps One Thread, with active posters, may have a chance at success... maybe. If the gingerbread man doesn't eat them too (which seems to be the only logical excuse for all the missing Menewshans! *glares at the gingerbread man*)

(1) Are the forums dead, or are they just "sleepy"?
(2) Are you seeing the same handful of posters running around the forums?
(3) What is your favorite event item?
(4) How many times have you burned something while baking?

Yes, Opalnyx, I tend to agree that people have other things to do, but the forums still seem awfully slow to me... (and they have seemed slow for the last week)

Yes, the forums have seemed really quiet to me since the event started and I kept running in to the same couple of active posters across all kinds of threads... it just seemed logical to see if we could get ONE active thread... so welcome! Welcome!!

Not me.. I only have three items so far.. I need more ginger to get the rest!

Oh - and burning things... yeah... my luck hasn't been so good with that.

I've now (somehow) managed to collect 2 sets of items and while getting the second set, I took notes:

... baked apples: success

... gingerbread man: 2 fails, 1 success

... snowman cookie: 1 fail, 1 success

... gingerbread house: success

... fruitcake: fail. attempt #2 "disappeared (but I ended up with another gingerbread item 0_o). attempt #3 succeeded

... frosted strawberries: success

... holiday cake: failed, succeeded


Not a good record, all in all, I'd say!




@ Pocky: didn't get much for xmas really. A little jewelry, a couple things of clothes. You?
