Monster Hunting: Everyone wins a prize! What could possibly be given on page 675?
http://www.menewsha.com/img/banners/...7511c7af3c.jpg Thank you Torikat for the banner art, Ferra for the banner, and HamletSpamlet for the monster art. Welcome to Monster Hunting. Will you be able to capture your prey? Or will it elude you to the very end? |
A few monsters have gotten loose on Mene! You need to stop them.
How to Play Step 1: Fill out form, correctly, submit here in threadYes, it is that simple. Every Monster has a set number of Health Points. Every time you roll a dice, the number rolled is the number subtracted from the Monster's HP. Continue this process until the Monster's HP is zero. Once it has dropped to zero, you will move onto the next level Monster. For every monster you beat, your prize level increases. At the end of the event, the prize level you are at is the prize you will receive. If you beat the level 1 monster, your prize level is 1, if you beat the level 2 monster, your prize level is 2. If you do not beat the level 2 monster by the end of the event, you remain at prize level 1. You can roll a dice every 8 hour period and you cannot edit the post you roll in. The 8 hour period is set to Hawaii Standard Time. Click here to find out what time it is in Hawaii. Any additional rolls made (or edited posts) will be disregarded. I will not inform you if this happens. The 8 hour periods are: 12:01(midnight)-8:00am 8:01am – 4:00pm 4:01pm - 12:00(midnight) Game will end on: November 5 at 8:00 am Hawaii Standard Time. The Monsters There are only 5 Monster. Each one you beat, you move up a level. You must drop the Monster's HP to zero before you can move on. Level 1: Flurries Health Points: 20HP http://www.menewsha.com/img/58048/35...94a4b65652.png Preferring to reside in cold climates, these small creatures are pretty harmless on their own. Their main strength comes from their ability to cluster together and take down their opponent in a swarm. Level 2: Tankogg Health Points: 5HP http://www.menewsha.com/img/58048/39...ab933e7b8e.png Although it is generally content to graze peacefully in fields and meadows, one should still use caution approaching this seemingly peaceful beast. When provoked, it curls into a ball and uses its great weight to smash down anything that gets in the way of its rolling. Level 3: Teuthamander Health Points: 10HP http://www.menewsha.com/img/58048/94...21411a6181.png Hiding in dark waters, this sly, slimy creature has nearly mastered the art of evasion. In the murky depths, it becomes difficult for predators to determine which of its ends is actually a head, usually resulting in the temporary loss of an arm or tail, which can be restored via its limb-regenerating abilities. Level 4: Cycluzzard Health Points: 5HP http://www.menewsha.com/img/58048/fb...e115138205.png Although its wing-to-body ratio makes it unable to take flight, this creature is still a formidable opponent. It is capable of running great distances at terrifying speeds thanks to its amazing endurance, not to mention the sharp talons and wicked, curving beak it uses to take down prey. Level 5: Draincara Health Points: 5HP http://www.menewsha.com/img/58048/0f...d0370da858.png Because of its sensitivity to bright light, this creature feels right at home in dark, menacing caves and under the cover of night. Its coloring lends itself well to camouflage, allowing it to swoop down from the sky on unsuspecting prey to drain them of all their blood. |

FAQ
Sure thing. If your form is incorrect, I won't count it anyways. If it is, then you are well on your way.
Pretty much.
No. You can roll anytime in that period. Once that period is done, you can roll again. For example, you can roll at 7:30am (Hawaii Standard Time) and that will count for the 12:01-8:00am period. Come back at 8:30am (Hawaii Standard Time) and roll and that will count for the 8:01-4:00pm period. Click here to find out what time it is in Hawaii.
