@Feyona: xD That's usually pretty fun to do; pretending to be someone else when you're shrouded in mystery. I hope you didn't tease that person too much or vice versa though, haha. x3
Hello Cricket! Intense avatar. :yes:
So, I have a subject topic to propose to you guys in this thread... what are everyone's stories about "first kisses"? Ever had one yet? If so, do you remember when it was, and what it was like?
I ALMOST had mine last night. We were THIS CLOSE. >_<;;; But I was as nervous as hell and I just couldn't bring myself to actually do it. Drew is really really patient and understanding, but I still feel sort of bad that I keep waiting so long. I know I'm just making too big of a deal out of it, but it's bugging me. :(

It's good that you're waiting. My mom told me I couldn't date anyone until I was sixteen. I was a good girl, but I was (still am sometimes) a little boy crazy. Naturally the day I turned 16 I found myself a boyfriend. It wasn't because I was exceptionally pretty or anything, but I've always been kinda naturally outgoing when I'm not in a pressured environment. So I ended up dating this guy who was a mess. He was a druggie and slept around a lot, even when he was dating someone. I didn't know all this at the time but the more I found out about him the less both me and my parents liked him. He was my first kiss and... >.> well no one should have to deal with a French Kiss the first time. I didn't know what to think. The only thing I could liken it to was kissing a dog.... so yeah. XD I've actually GOT a French guy right now and if there's one thing that French men excel at, it's kissing. ^.^

I didn't kiss Brandon until about six weeks into our relationship, and even then, that was just a kiss on the cheek. I was scared to death because I fell in love with him almost instantly, but I refused to share it because even though he had fallen in love with me, I was afraid that he only thought he loved me, and that we wouldn't work out. I was only fifteen, but I wasn't stupid.
I didn't kiss him on the lips until after I came back from a family reunion in Maryland, so that was about eight weeks into the relationship. And then I kinda sorta went into shock a bit because I couldn't believe I had kissed him.
We were both kinda crying because I had been gone for a week and we had spent at least two hours together every day since we started hanging out together (we didn't really call it dating until a month later, but really, we bonded instantly and it really should've been called dating from day one).
He thought it was cute that I was shaking, but he was starting to shake too.
If you've never kissed anyone before, I say wait for a while. Really, you want your first kiss to be special.
I wasn't Brandon's first kiss, but he was mine. Four and a half years later, I've been a lot of his firsts, and he's been a lot of mine (sex still not one of them, Cricket isn't ready for sex yet). Brandon was the first man I ever truly loved, though. Hell, he was the first person I really ever truly loved other than my grandmother and my uncle.

@Fey: D= Ack, that kind of sucks about the "mess" guy; I'm sorry. A french for the first time, when it wasn't with the right person, sounds pretty invasive. :( But at least you have a good guy now, though. ^^ That "kissing like a dog" thing made me laugh. x3
@Cricket: Wow... that's really pretty amazing. And 6-8 weeks sounds like a LONG time to be dating someone without ever kissing... now that I think about it, though, I've been going out with Drew for around 4-5 weeks already. So I guess I still have some time, according to the Cricket Calendar. ^^;
Your story is incredibly sweet, though. Very emotional and powerful.

Lol, yep, that's exactly what I'm doing. I certainly want it to be special... I just hope I'm not being too "picky" or anything. I am already 18 years old, whereas most people are on average 16 or at least around there. How old were you when yours happened, Cricket? 15 or 16?
And yeah, I won't be Drew's first kiss either. He tells me he kissed a girl in the 2nd grade, xD which is cute but I'm not sure if it counts... but, if we ever go through with it, he will indeed be my first. (Just the thought of that makes me nervous, though! @_@)
It's nice to know that you guys are waiting for sex, though. I was actually just talking to my first ex on MSN a few minutes ago, and he just told me that he lost his virginity last night... he's like, 19 this year... *shrug* Not to sound flippant but I'm actually a little surpirsed he waited even this long. I sort of thought he's already done it, lol. I went out with this guy when I was about 15, I think, and in retrospect I see that he was basically one of those guys who tells a girl what she wants to hear just to be with her. He has had lots of different girlfriends in the past. I didn't really know that back then, and I just knew I had a crush on him over one Christmas and then he told me he liked me the next summer. I see now how different our styles are (me = no sex, him = yes sex), lol. [/long side-note]
Lol @ Elmira. :rofl: :lol:

You can't be too picky with your first kiss. It's your first, it's a right of passage, make it what you want it to be.
Brandon and I started dating six days after he turned sixteen. I wasn't fifteen yet (and honestly, I freaked out when I found out how old he was: I thought he was sixteen about to be seventeen and thought he was too old for me), but I turned fifteen before we kissed. We kissed about two weeks after my fifteenth birthday.
I went even longer without telling Brandon that I loved him. Like, two, three months. And even then, I only said it once, and after that I never said it first. I always waited for him to say it before me, and half the time it was just an awkward smile in reply to him. I was so afraid that I was feeling the real thing (which I knew I was) and that he was just being a guy mistaking hormones for love.
But hey, he's been patiently waiting for me to be ready for sex, with no pressure at all. He takes care of me when I'm sick, and if I'm hungry and sick he'll go out and get me fast food.
He knows what foods I can eat, what foods I can't eat, and what foods I love more than any other foods. He knows what settles my stomach, what upsets my stomach, what gives me headaches, and what helps ease my headaches.
And when I have really bad headaches, he rubs my shoulders, face, and scalp until his fingers ache and he loses the strength in his hands.
He pays close attention to that kinda stuff. And whenever I'm on a medication he makes sure I take it and if it makes me sick he does his best to make me feel better.
He was also the one that taught me how to take my antibiotic pills with milk so I can swallow them and so they don't kill my stomach. He's incredibly handy, and his mother is a nurse (I think she's an LPN? I confuse RPNs with LPNs though, so I can't remember which she is. I know she can prescribe medication, though.), so medical knowledge and skill kinda runs in his blood.

Brandon sounds like the embodiment of the "for better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health" stuff to me... He sounds perfect, and you Cricket, sound unbelievably lucky to have found him. @_@ It's a good thing you have the Super Boyfriend Creature and the Amazing Wonder Cats to help you when you're sick, huh? x3
Hm. I should probably just relax about the whole kissing thing and stop over-thinking it, huh? Just let it happen whenever it happens and don't think about anything else when it does... He will wait, he'll be fine with that. Some things just can't be planned and analyzed.

Stopping of the thinking about it sounds like the best way to go about it. -Nodnod-
But I can tell you something really romantic. Even though it wasn't our first kiss, it's still extremely romantic to me, every time we do. Our city has two festivals, one in October and one at the end of June. The one in October is the Pumpkin Festival and the one in June is Community Days.
I find it extremely romantic to kiss at night at those festivals. It makes me giggle and feel like I'm floating. ^_^

Awww! ^^ That sounds great. I love that feeling. I am really pro-romance too, lol. I've always wanted the first kiss to be romantic. My best friend in Texas told me about how she kissed her boyfriend while standing in the rain once, and she said that was really romantic, too. (It was probably making out in the rain, haha, but they're great people and they've been going out for forever.)
My 2nd ex (there are only 2) actually tried to kiss me in the middle of a crowded Starbucks, with a group of my friends sitting right there. I was like, are you kidding?! Not here!! x_x I'm at least glad Drew hasn't tried anything like that. He's very un-pushy, and also not clingy, which is great. :heart:
As for telling each other "I love you"? That was the point at which Drew and I started "officially" going out. When we worked up to it and said that to each other, that was when I decided to pretty much dive in and give him a chance. He has been performing admirably ever since. :heart: At least to me he has, heh. I know you guys think Chach is a little obnoxious... but I do love him.
Just wish I could kiss him >__<;;

Oh yeah. Children are a whole 'nother ball-park, huh? Parents will do anything and everything for their kids... my mom always tells me how I am her whole world, etc. That's a beautiful sentiment though, Elmira. :yes: If I ever have kids, I'm sure I'll feel that way, too.

No clue who Zolar is.
Sae - it's different than that feeling you get with someone you're in love with. Almost like a chemical bond. If you've ever met someone for the first time that you'd swear you knew all your life, that feeling with your own child is sort of like that.

Well, newcomers to the thread 'lurk' because they're usually reading the first post. Which I greatly appreciate.
However, either they started to idle while reading (which means they could still be here), or they left. -Shrugs- They might've applied to the Assassin account. I really need to check it again, don't I... -Mutters-
After round six Assassin is going to take a couple months of a break. People will still be able to sign up, but there will definitely be changes. But Cricket and Simmy need a break.

@Elmira: Me neither.
I actually haven't had that feeling. I've met people I've connected REALLY well with almost instantly, but they were still just a really good friend. They way you describe it still sounds exciting, though. x3 Your kids are like little reflections of you (and your spouse), right? And, forgive me for not remembering... are you a single mom? Or were you the one who said you had a husband that snored all the time? x_x Lol, sorry...
@Cricket: Aww... Well... when are sign-ups for Round 6 going to be over? Actually let me look at the first page first, haha...

Well, if we don't get at least three more sign-ups, the sign-up period will be extended. There's no way we can have a round with how few people we have right now.
