To answer your questions:

We are starting over because the four people (who's places are being replaced) stopped without warning and without known cause to us - so we are starting out back in the Cafeteria - all new players will be at the table in PLACE of the other characters - so it will be as if the other characters never existed and the lunch period had just begun for everyone in that room - Saiyuri and Christian will remain on their journey to the market :3

So in reality - you can be whatever you wish to be, as long as it is human and either an Alice or a Regular :3

The classes you take during the day are your regular school classes - then there is an extra couple of hours AFTER school for ALICES ONLY that help you IMPROVE and CONTROL your talent - so that they may in time use it for their own purposes.

Their ability is their "Alice" - they in turn are called "Alices" - Regular people DO NOT know of their abilities and think they are normal kids who are Honor students who have extra classes after regular school~

...As I stated in the beginning post - the only thing we are taking from that series is the fact that the students have special abilities - the "star-ranking" WILL NOT occur in this roleplay, and no - there is no limit on their powers in this roleplay.
And no, you do not choose from the categories listed, you choose an Alice that would FIT IN the categories :3
