Axel sighed again. "Oh, come on. You know any relationship you get into won't last. Your freakin royalty how long can anything last against that? But fine, you don't have to show me your girl."

Roxas frowned. Although he was happy that Axel wasn't pushing to see his new 'girlfriend', he didn't like how he seemed so positive that he couldn't make a relationship work... Well.. He's only been in maybe two in the past and neither of them has lasted very long. But still! He shouldn't have said that!

Axel could see he had upset the blond but really that was just how things were. Axel knew he was the same way. He was a lord's son and would be expected to marry whoever his parents picked. He didn't like it but it was simple facts. And Sora had it even worse. He would wed who his parents picked and who would be the best for the people.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean you couldn't. Just that your parents won't let you marry a commoner. If they knew you were even seeing her they wouldn't take it well." He didn't want his best friend to be mad at him.

Roxas sighed and lifted his gaze to look at Axel. "I know... You're right." he said. This would give him a good excuse to 'break up with her' now. But he wanted to wait a bit longer, just to let the redhead believe he had a girlfriend. "We more than likely won't even be together much longer anyway."

Axel sighed and threw his core into the garbage. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ruin anything you had with her. It isn't right what is expected of you. So how about we do something to take our minds off that?"

Roxas shook his head quickly. "You didn't ruin anything. Our relationship was over anyway." he said, shrugging lightly. A small smile formed on his face though. "What'd you have in mind for that?" he asked. He knew he would be fine with anything, just as long as they didn't leave the castle and no-one would get hurt.

He thought remembering how all of his ideas had been turned down before. He tried to think of something. How about we... go check on the animals?"

((gah, I couldn't think of anything and that was the first thing to pop out. lol))

Roxas was silent for a long moment before nodding, finishing off his apple. "That sounds fine by me." he said, smiling lightly. He figured it was innocent enough. After all, it didn't appear as if anyone or anything was going to get hurt. "Let's go."

((Xp It's fine. Just curious though... Are there going to be any cats? If there are, I was thinking of maybe making Roxas be allergic to them. Just to make things more interesting.))

Axel nodded and started the walk to the animals. He really didn't care about the animals too much but they were kind of fun to watch. He walked into the side room and looked around. There were monkies, horses, and other friendly animals and on the other side were the ones he liked. The large cats, dogs, and other meat eatters.

Roxas smiled lightly at the sight of the animals. He had no idea that there were so many of them in the castle. And the monkeys were amusing to watch. He went to look at the others on the other side. But once he reached the cats, he couldn't stop a sneeze. He froze, not really sure if Sora had a cat allergy like he did. It would be bad if he didn't.

Axel walked to the cats and looked at them. Most were napping. Maybe that is what I should do. He looked over suddenly at Sora's sneeze. I hope he isn't getting sick. "Are you alright?

Roxas nodded and hoped that Axel wasn't getting suspicious about the sneeze. After all, it was just one time. "Yeah. I"m fine." he said, smiling lightly to help reassure him. But he couldn't stop another sneeze from coming.

He doesn't sound sick. Is it because of the cats?" "You don't sound alright. Is there something wrong with the animals?"

Roxas shook his head quickly. "I'm fine." he repeated, turning away from the cats. He took a few steps away and found that he was breathing easier now. He really needed to leave this room before his allergy really kicked in.

"Hm... ok." He shrugged then walked over to the big cats' cage. Really it was more then a cage because it was a miniture world within each cage but it still had bars. He reached through the bars. The cats had always been his favorite. A large lioness walked over to him and rubbed her head against his hand. He smiled softly down at her and scratched behind her ears before withdrawing his arm and turning back to Sora.

Roxas frowned lightly, watching Axel approach the large cats. He was certain that he was going to end up getting his hand bit off, seeing as he didn't know how well-trained these cats were. But they seemed to be somewhat gentle. But he turned and started towards the door once he seen Axel was done petting the lioness. "Can we go now?" he asked, glancing over his shoulder at him.

Axel sighed and started walking towards the door. "Sure, Sir Figit." He walked over to Sora and clapped him on the back. "So what now?"
