*laughs* "Positively Positive"? That's a bit .. positive.
Is it only me that finds companies with Facebook profiles weird? There was one company I looked up, I expected to find a website but all they have is a FB profile.

It is. :XP
Well, I think it's weird when they only have Facebook profiles, but who knows? Maybe they're just starting out and can't afford to maintain a domain.

I absolutley hate when people will post that they are angry or something, and then when people ask what is wrong, they are like oh I do not want to talk about it... I am just like then why post it on Facebook if you are not willing to talk about. I just do not understand this..

It was TokyoPop. *lol* I remembered that maybe five years ago they used to send me a free book with previews of all the upcoming manga and I wanted to see if they'd still do that.
But yeah, I could see if a site was just starting out.. Only, I tend to visit a lot of websites hunting for coupons online, and there are a few that only have a FB profile. D: That's kinda .. weird.

@Draciolus Your from Wisconsin aren't you? Or somewhere midwest.
My pest peeve about status is the ones who complain or feel compelled to only post status when negative stuff is going on. Even when positve stuff is happening they still make it negative someway.(Yes, I have a friend who does this...)
I also reported, defriended and blocked someone cuz all they did was talk about hate and his nazi brothers. Um yeah... don't need that crap on my page.

I hate it when I see statuses like "wanna beat some b***** up!!!" (yes, this was really on my news feed) or something along those lines. Makes me want to.. Well, beat some bishis up.

My current pet peeve is anything political or complaining about politics. I don't pay attention to that stuff for a reason, don't clog up my feed with it.
Speaking of my feed getting clogged up, I hate it when pages I liked decide to flood my stream with not-so-interesting stuff >_>

I have a friend who constantly posts random pictures from the internet. That's fine, they're funny, but I have a lot of friends and it's taking up all of my feed. She does it ALL day long. I can't believe she's just sitting there all day, every day searching for pictures on the web to post on her Facebook. If it was one or two, that wouldn't be an issue, but it's at least two an hour.
I have another friend who posts what she's doing like every five minutes. Really, I don't care that you're driving to the grocery store. In fact, no one does! If you see an elephant on your way, let us know! Otherwise, shut up! She posts that she's in the dentist chair at the dentist, a picture of herself with the hose in her mouth... you really had the dentist stop what he was doing to take that awful picture of yourself and post it on Facebook? Ridiculous.

O.M.G. Biggest pet peeve is people who post pictures of themselves doing illegal shit, or talking about them doing illegal shit. It's just SO dumb!
Your future employers are going to look at your Facebook page, and may even request your password so they can REALLY LOOK AT YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE. You'd have to be stupid to post anything you wouldn't want a future employer to see.

Very true. Honestly, though, if a possible employer did that to me, I'd report them for invasion of privacy. If I got fired for something on facebook that was ridiculous, I'd make them liable for wrongful termination.

Ahh, love NPR. <3 Anyway, it's great that facebook is trying to protect their users. The first thing that came to mind when you mentioned employers demanding passwords was that it would jeopardize the security of several other accounts of mine that are linked to facebook. It'd also jeopardize my friends. It's just not right.
And I agree, I mentioned a while back in this thread that my friend's boyfriend has on his facebook, "I like sex, pot, and video games." Real smart.

Huh, reading through these posts, I guess I'm lucky pretty much none of my Facebook friends jump on those stupid bandwagons, making statuses "like this post so X can happen" or reposting statuses that say you need to copy them into your own status. I've only seen those a few times, and they were genuinely funny, so I didn't mind. I guess I should pat my Facebook friends on the back for being pretty cool. 8D
That doesn't mean I don't get some annoying posts, though. I have 3 people who do nothing but b*tch about their lives. For two guys, every post is pessimistic or angry. For one girl, she kept making vague or pity-party posts just to get attention before she finally "quit Facebook" because "there's too much drama". Anyone who makes a status saying that "none of their friends appreciate them" should be slapped. =/
I haven't deleted any of them since I'm lazy and I was waiting for enough time to pass since we last saw each other IRL for it to be prudent to defriend them. It's been at least a few months for all three, so I might as well sever ties now and hope they don't notice.

@DivineHeart: Yeah, I find it crazy that some people update their Facebook pages several times a day, almost every day! D: I'm lucky if I change mine once a month and my profile photo usually changes way less than that. It's just not that important to me to let people know what I had for lunch, etc.
