I do have a good relationship with my mom these days. Our relationship has always been decent at the very least, but also very dramatic due to poor communication. We've been seeking counseling which has helped greatly in building our relationship stronger.

I'm glad your relationship with your mom is stronger!! That's really good! You have her to lean on and for support!

I'm actually terrified of Miami XD I live in Central Florida....went to college in Orlando which was bad enough in that big city - but apparently Miami is a thousand times worse - soooo many people and crazy roads down there! XD I've only been there 2 times - once I drove through it on the wya to key west when I was in 4th grade. Then a couple years ago my favorite football team (Philadelphia Eagles) came to play the Dolphins in their stadium so we took a trip down there for the game (but the stadium is on the outskirts so we really didn't venture into the city at all)

My step-dad, however, it was just pure step-child syndrome. His son (my older step-brother) was a perfect little angel and could do no wrong. I, however, was responsible for everything. Plus he's always, ALWAYS, teased me about my weight thinking it's funny. It was really stressful, I told my mom I was going to go live with my dad if he didn't stop. That was a huge argument where we all cried (step-dad included) saying he took his stress out on me and he didn't know why. So since then I've kind of just learned to deal with it? But the past three years have been good.

no guys in general can be horrible people. but than.so can many females.. i think people in general are horrible. which makes people likes us on menewsha so much more awesome!!

WOW! Your stepdad really didn't know how to deal with a daughter let alone a stepchild! You don't make fun of any girl's weight - ever!!!!

I have that same mentality unfortunately - I wish I could believe in the good in people - and sometimes I do - but then people just show themselves and that makes me down humanity as a whole >.< Mene lets me escape :D

The people on mene are so nice. There are actually people on here I've known for years and years now. I consider them really my friends.
