@cherry: Did you like Pride & Prejudice? I had to read that like three yrs ago for school. There's some interesting parts but also boring scenes. I got through it quickly.

@Lil: Yeah, I've read Eye of the Dragon too. It was good, but than afterwards I read another one of his books and I couldn't finish it because it wasn't to my liking.

I'm still reading War & Peace.

That was actually the first Harry Potter book I read XD

And then I started reading them in order OwO;

I think it was because I saw a friend reading it that I wanted to read it myself. It made it a little more confusing because I hadn't been properly introduced to the characters, but after giving it a re-read, I understood it more well >w<

This is my second or third time reading it. ^^; I love Harry Potter, so I've read most the books more than once. The only reason that I started reading Harry Potter was because my younger bought the first book from a book fair at school. He never read it and it was just sitting in his room collecting dust, so I stole it from and started to read it. I've been hooked ever since and that was like eight or nine years ago.

I think I was like 13 or 14 when I started reading Harry Potter. That seems like such a long time ago! I feel so old. >.<

You have a signed copy of Deathly Hallows!? You are so lucky! I don't blame you. If I had an autographed copy of one of the Harry Potter books, I would never touch it either.

I went to see J.K. Rowling last October at the Kodak theater. It was fun~

They had a mountain of books to give out to every single person in the audience, and that's why I have two XD
We got to go up to her and shake her hands and stuff as she signed it. It was neat~ She read to us too. I thought it was great how she did the voices.

Gah. I gotta go now. I'll edit the page number on my list before I leave XD

Platinum - Thank you! :D

Thoth - Yes, I liked it a lot. At times I felt that it did reiterate and drag on a bit longer than it should, but it was all within tolerable levels.
It probably wouldn't have been so frustrating if I wasn't so familiar with the basics of the story already (I've seen the movie 3+ times in the past few months)

@Thoth Star- Some of his books are like that, you just can't finish them. I like most of his early books but I can't stand most of his newer works.

Do books that are required reading for school count?

We have Joy Luck Club, Tuesdays with Morrie and The Little Prince (Something like that...) this year. If that's allowed, then I only have 47 more books to read.

Yes they count if you want them too. You can even count text books. I counted my mythology book.

Hey! ;D You have them too. Wanna help set up a dragcave adoptables thread?

Anyhoo, I read a lot of books in the Library during my spare time. So, this shouldn't be too hard.

Oh... lawd, you guys. o_o
I started Twilight last night. With the fullest intentions of criticizing it the whole way. I suceeded for about a chapter or two, then... I don't know what happened. o_o
I got hooked. o_o
And I read until 4 in the morning. 195 pages of that book. 195!
I... don't know what happened.

But... but... I don't like Twilight fans. ;_;

I still haven't read Twilight yet.
Even though I usually love vampire-related books..
^^;;
Something tells me I should try to soon.

Don't read it if you don't like being giggly. XD
I nearly shot myself in the head when I kept finding myself with this huge, dorky smile on my face, nearly giggling.
I'd keep stopping, and then twisting my face up into this angry expression to try to kill the smile. XD It was so dorky.

*points and laughs at Cherry*

You've been infected! And now you'll never be the same again.
Go read some Dostoevsky to get your mind away from the sparkly vampires.

...Don't the Twilight vampires sparkle or glitter or something along those lines? I haven't read the book, but that's what I've heard.

Oh dear...if they're shiny, I'm as good as doomed!
Though, I don't entirely mind laughing while reading.
It only makes others look at me funnier than they already do, so I'm not at all worried about that.
Plus, funny books are like my happy crack.
