I'm glad about the signature rules--sometimes the image looks perfectly fine until I see it in my signature, at which point I go crazy trying to figure out what's wrong/how to fix it. XD

Muggles, the reason a picture can be the same size and have different KB's is because pictures are saved as different types of files. For instance a PNG is going to have more than a GIF or a JPeg because of resolution. But yet one GIF can have more than another GIF of the same size if the person ran an optimizer on the image to preserve the clarity and resolution. Does that make sense?

And uh, how do you measure them?

If you right click on your image, and go to "Properties" it'll tell you the size in pixels, as well as the file size in KB. :)

I love the new siggy thing where it automatically decreases size in the siggy, but then I shouldn't have a permanent infraction for it. I think that everyone that has a permanent infraction/banning for it should have it taken away because that's no fair now. =/

Ohh, so now I've looked into it I get how it works.

There's an imaginary box of 350x500 in our sigs... unfortunately that box can't be moved by the looks of it and is always left aligned.

So if people centre their sigs it's only centred within that box and in my case right aligned to that box.

:( I'll never have a truly right aligned sig again *cries*

The new gold cap rule for games is good,
that can limit the game gold from over-flowing the economy
and reduce the increase of inflations. ^^

For the signature rule though,
personally I prefer the old -manual- signature rule. ^^;;

It's not that hard for user to check
and edit their images limit themselves,
(learning it is also a good thing ;) )
and we could have more freedom
in arranging the content of our signature.

But since the rule is already changed
and we could only have to follow,
I guess all I can do now is to figure out a new way
to make the new arrangement in my sig to look less scrambled. ^^;;

The images & words in my 'old' signature
is usually in 3 lines, each aligned left, right & center.
Now they're all look kind of squished to the left side. :P

Well no, i don't think they will be removed because we didn't have such a luxury before, same thing when people were cheating the gold earning system by using lots of hidden codes - its like buying something at full price at a store then a weeks later it goes on sale, you can't just go back and demand to get it at the sale price :sweat:
