No, I haven't read them. When you hear nothing but people talking about something, eventually you get sick of it and there's about 0% change you'll ever touch the series that everyone's fangirling over.

I've read about the series. I have watched trailers, commercials, interviews with the author, I've read reviews about the series and the movie, and I've even listened to the goddamned soundtrack.

So far, everything regarding this series sucks. And I really am tired of hearing everyone talk about it. I know I'm not the only one who is.

I haven't read it because even though I've tried to give it a chance, I still don't find it worth reading.

I actually really like the books. XD I'm just tired of hearing about it and, despite the fact that people assure me the movie is good, the previews make it out to seem terrible.
:3 Cricket, the main seller point for me is that I really like Stephanie Meyer's writing.
Though, I do believe Twilight is the next Harry Potter. >>

I do love the books...and I do hate the movie previews, because they do suck.
But...all of my friends went hating the previews and came back loving the movie.
So I just want to see it.

XD Well what I mean by the comparison is..
Both series are over-hyped.
Both authors are over-paid (though Rowling moreso than Meyer).
Both possess really annoying main characters.

The only difference is I really hate Rowling's writing and I love Meyer's. :P

Meyer exaggerated the ending of Twilight so much...with Bella's power. I thought it was a bit un-real how there was always SOMETHING to prevent them from fighting.

XD I actually liked the ending of Twlight. I was all, "ALICE IS BACK! OH EM GEE!" XD And then, I only vaguely remembered what happened...
I was really annoyed by all the sex, though. XD Like every five pages...I was like, "Oh for heaven's sake! This is ridiculous!"
The ending to Harry Potter made me mad, particularly the epilogue. I thought it was so cool that he sacrificed himself--it really made up for all the whining he did in the earlier books--but then he came back and it just...cheapened it. :( I was really dissapointed.
Then the epilogue was just ridiculous. I mean...what the hell? Why was Malfoy with a chick!? He's obviously gay!

Yes...I was glad Alice was back...BUT, my point exactly with what you said.
It was an ending you'll never remember. :]
The sex was annoying...especially when it was an ALL NIGHT thing. I was like "Ugh...C'mon already"
And I really hated when it was in the end of Jacobs part, describing how he saw the baby be born, and then Bella's at the beginning was just a repeat basicly!
Annoyed me to know end. D:
