I haven't had many hotdogs in my life either xD Like, I had a couple of them this year, and another two when I was 7 years old ^^' It's not that I don't like them, but most of the time the hotdogs sold around here doesn't have good meat quality, and I'm used to complete meals D:
My cousin found something weird in his soda bottle. We never knew what it was... it looked like an eye, or a little white ball, and it was bubbling o_o

PS: *gives everyone cookies*

*noms a cookie* Cookies!!!!

I agree, hot dogs need to be quality meat. If I eat ones that say Chicken, Pork, Turkey AND Beef I usually get sick to my stomach.

I suppose this would be weird to other people. :ninja: I have eaten cold spaghetti (red gravy and all) on a sandwich with mayo.->(I saw it in a comic strip and made it XD)

Also, a peanut butter and choc. frosting sandwich is actually quite tasty. P:

I like peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. I have also been known to spread tuna salad on jelly doughnuts.

I was an exchange student in Germany, and I loved it when the dorm would serve fried Camembert cheese. The cheese itself is very bitter, so you fry it (the same way you would a mozzarella stick... you bread it and deep fry it), and put it on toast, and then you put cranberry sauce on top! The sweetness of the cranberry sauce and the bitterness of the cheese balance each other, and it's just divine!

If I'm just eating a pickle, I like kosher dills, but on a peanut butter sammitch, I prefer bread'n'butter sweet pickles. Nummy!

Black rice is probably the weirdest food that I've eaten, that I can remember. It's actually very good though it's like one of those rices that you don't need to have stew or sauce to eat with it. It looks like ants though Dx so I avoided it for the longest time until I saw my mom eating it. lol

see, that right there is what I'm talking about.
if you don't eat it, it's thrown away and it's gone to waste.
this is gonna sound really corny, and I don't mean to lecture or sound like someone's mom but there really are people out there who would love the "trash meat" that's going in there.
most of the time, the meat's just tougher cuts or fat. gristle is also an ingredient in some of the cheaper ones. it's nothing that'll kill you or make you sick. and hell, edible organ meat is actually good for you. while I'm sure American hot dogs don't have organ meat in them(that stuff goes into pet food, actually), just trimmings, it's all good to eat.

>__> I guess.. the strangest thing I ever had was something called "Special Pancakes" at a Korean restaurant xD They were like.. seafood pancakes with octopus legs in it D: I was like "EEK!" when I saw it but I still want to try octopus one of these days *couldn't stomach it back then*, just when I'm more.. prepared to eat it! Surprise seafood is not my thing XD

I've also had BBQ onigiri, that was... interesting, but I'm not a big BBQ fan xD So maybe I'm biased?

Weirdest food I've eaten before? I ate lots of them! Rice+Eggs+Tofu+Spinach+Steak+more random items. While I eat it, my family stares at me as if I'm crazy. But then again, my brother has weirder things. He drinks soda with everything...

It's definitely a different culture down there, isn't it? I LOVE creole and cajun food! And I cannot wait to get back to the South! Glad that someone here shares a liking for my favorite foods ;)

I was just thinking about those the other day! Now I want to go find some, but they're impossible to hunt down around here. *droool*

A lot of people in here have really adventurous tastes! I haven't eaten a lot of weird stuff, but slightly unusual, at least.
-fried balls of octopus
-fermented soybean
-squid (not that weird, but preparing it was a bit odd. they make awful crunching noises when you tear them ;o;)
-shrimp tails (like, the not-meat part. If you cook them, it gets a nice crackery snack texture)

I really need to get out and try more things...

I had Kalamari once (that's octopus) just to say that I did. My stomach couldn't keep it down - not because it was bad, but because I ate too much. That place had the most delicious food. Sad that I lost most of it to the pavement outside.... ick, you guys didn't need to know that...

Regularly, I'll let my girlfriend cook and she cooks the straaaaangest things. Ramen noodles and rice together with valveeta cheese? She's an odd ball, that one. But I love her! (And therefore I eat it. If you're so hungry you don't care, it goes down just fine. xD)

My host parents fed me some pretty fun stuff when I was in Japan. Day one was a whole little squid sushi...I liked it but getting it in my mouth was a trick. I had raw egg mixed with rice, I liked it but sadly didn't come up on the menu often.

Umaboshi(Pickled plum) with rice is AMAZING and I love the Umaboshi onagiri, my friends didn't get that one.

Squid on a stick is another good one, then again any thing with squid was a win. Ika shashimi is soooo good, normally I would get that with temaki T.T

As for weird things I eat back home Tofu with soy sauce, Cucumber with soy sauce and pitzels too beacsue of the anise oil that is in them...many people hate them.
