@Feyona: No, that name hasn't come up yet. I need to side trip to the library tomorrow. Bloddy Bones is almost done. xD

@Leenie: Read them! Also - Really? I've been raving around my room all day thanks to that flash. It's the soundtrack to the book I'm reading right now and the one from last night. Which worked when they waked into a strip club. xD
..... I want to dress up as that. Green body suit and all. XD

@Jenova: I think the series was just the "My _____ is a vampire" xD I read My sister is a vampire and my brother is a vampire back in grade school. We had a book swap thing and those were the only books that looked interesting.

@Stormy: I'm only on the fifth book and I don't recall him unless he was minor. xD
My library only has really old paperback editions of the earlier books. I think they were kept in storage too long, they smell like mildew. Yuck.

Tireth: I don't think my first books were a series as such. I had a lot of those books where you pressed a button to make a sound that went along with the story. Like a really lo-tech Leapfrog. XD

Hallo Iltu. I'm a little stuck on book 19 (I started last year) but I think I might be picking up speed again. How about you?

Hello there, Kat. I'm a bit behind, seeing as I upped it to a hundred books for myself and almost a month after, I hadn't managed to finish one book yet. I'm catching up though, I'm on book six now and Tuseday is my first full month of this. Granted, I have much more catching up to do regardless, but I'm hoping I can just chug away! I should get off to read more soon...

Heh, I should be revising at whatnot and the moment but I'm not doing anything useful at all. Good luck getting to 100. ^^

I'm off to bed for now, maybe I'll be able to finish a chapter before I go to sleep. XD

Yeah he's defiantly not a minor characters, if your only on the fifth then he'll show up three books after (8) in Narcissus in Chains. At least I believe, it's been a while since I read the books ^^;; though all this talk is making want to start reading them again.

@jenova - book nerds unite! 83
liiike the bailey school kids books?
the only other thing i can think of that's similar is my teacher is an alien by bruce coville.

@dani - yes, really. and it keep playing in my head so i just want to rave all over the place now. XD
... we should do it. for otakon. we will be the raving anon. XDDDD

@iltu - i'm still reading my first book, and i've only finished six since the end of november. i am crawling on these. D:

@kat - (they're called sound stories)

@anyone who cares - i was trying to see if tinseltown still had rab ne bana di jodi playing (they don't, i'm sad) and i found an odd movie called chandni chowk to china. think bollywood plus chinese martial arts movies. i need to see it. XD
it doesn't have shahrukh khan, but the lulz from dancing and fighting should make up for most of it.

@iltu: Book five in four days. I'm making up for a month of not reading. So I'm almost halfway done with my goal, about a fourth of the way in. xD

@Leenie: I think we should dress up, get that song and monstrous boom box, and stand on a city street corner. xD

Someone on Amazon had bought The Graveyard Book at the same time, so it must be alright. XD

+ I've got a teeny bit further through the philosophy book I'm reading but I think I'll have to start Accelerando soon or it'll be due back to the library before I'm done. >.<
It's not really a children's book per say. It's more general audience. I know plenty of adults (albeit, mostly librarians) who have read and loved it. Heh. I'm 16 and I couldn't really stop reading it. :3

Accelerando. I probably should finally go back and finish that. I've had it sorta on hold for...wow. Going on 6 months now.

Yes. xD
I wonder how many people would get it? You think the camera crew would stop at us? XD

See this is why you shouldn't show me addicting flash vids.

@yreka - it is in the kid's section in books stores, but most books in the juv fiction section can be read by adults, just a lot of adults think that it's too childish of them to read the books so they don't. D:

@dani - they would definitely stop at us. XD but i'm not sure a lot of people will get it.
we could probably post about it on the otakon forums a couple weeks before the con and people will recognize us with that nudge of help. :]

Ugh, I haven't read recently. I tend to get really enamored with a book, read it constantly, then finish it and not read anything for a week or two.
I started a Mark Twain book the day I finished Jennifer Government, but I haven't picked it up since.

I should have specified that towards dream... LOL. But yeah I know that the book before DM was titled Micah... I just didn't remember which book he came in at.

@ tireth: Yes! The Bailey School Kid books! I remember reading, like, every single one that was published when I was a kid. Some 20-odd books. Oh, and Cam Jansen and Encyclopedia Brown were definitely some of m favorites, too.

@cherry - i do that, too, but i stop in the middle of the book, instead of finishing it. D:
absolutely no attention span. XD

@dani - you're a beast. and you went to sleep early tonight, wow. :3

@jenova - i feel successful at knowing that. 83
i think i have some of those books, but i'm not sure where they went. ;_;

ps.
GUESS WHAT MOVIE I'M WATCHING AGAIN??? 8D
(after a few-day break)
BUT! i'm watching it as the background to reading the book while i try to fall asleep, so does it count?

... actually i shall try to finish the graveyard book first, but if i get bored with that, onto p&p.

pps.
i just forgot that i said that i was going to read graveyard book, so fuck it.
p&p it is. XD

both music and dialogue. it just sounds so pretty. :]

ps.
not to mention there are at least three actors that i recognize from doctor who. x3 (mary, kitty, and mrs. gardiner)
and, of course, my favorite line, from georgiana.

Yreka: On amazon the first review says something about how the publishers say it's suitable for ages 9-12, but younger kids could probably read it. I'm 18. XD

I have Singularity Sky to read too, but I bought that the other week so nobody can fine me for putting it off a little longer.

Tireth: I used to think that children's books were somehow beneath me which I now realise is a stupid way to behave. Actually now I go into the kids and pick up a random choose your own adventure book so I can randomly announce "Do you turn on the device yourself (page 100) or ask the Doctor for help? (page 34)" or something silimar at whoever is silly enough to accompany me.
