Sometimes there are songs that talk about a specific person, and has their name in the song. Then everyone with that name can say "Hey, that songs about me!" and so on. Songs like Billy Jean (Micheal Jackson), Sweet Caroline (Neil Diamond), Her name was Lola (Barry Manilow), Peggy Sue (Buddy Holly), Roxanne (The Police) and so on. So... are there any songs with 'your' name in them?

Unfortunately I have a song that's about a girl with my name... who lives in the same city I live in... I say it's 'unfortunate' because it calls this girl fat and dumb through out the song ^.^; It's like a song dedicated to insulting me ^.^; You may of heard it. It was played on an old Betty Boop cartoon. It's called Kitty from Kansas City. My name is Kitty, and I happen to live in Kansas City... But I'm not "243" (LBS) and I hope I'm not as dumb as they make this "Kitty" girl out to be ^.^; Here's a link to the song, if you've never heard it.

None that I know of, no. I rather doubt it. I know one Icelandic song that mentions Alan Alda, and then there are songs that mention waves (wave in Icelandic = alda), but that's about it.

My friend, María, hates songs that mention her name. Unfortunately, there are loads who do.

Umm~ I think Mika has a song called "Grace Kelly," and if you cut out the Kelly I'd be really flattered. As is? I get all weepy because my middle name isn't... well, Kelly.
