Well he did go and get a "Wundercat" tattoo, -making fun of peters accent-
so I guess maybe he felt like being with Jane was logical, even though he acted different with her. As to Valerie, yeah I hate her lots, she'll probably be fat by the time she hits her 40s. And Holly and Mark are the perfect example of what every girl wants her relationship to be, you know a good balance of stress and unstress. -thinks of iambic pentameter- And he read her travel journal so he knew it wouldn't be a crush sort of thing, she was seething love on every page of it, even though she tried to convince herself that she hated him.

Aww, Peter and his fans were so cute. My favorite part was during the wedding, and all the fans were lined up waiting for Jane! XD That was so cute! xD;;
Still, something I'm a little irked about is that... Jane's staying in Italy with Cal, even they've only known each other for a week! D:
That's just so unrealistic. xD

It does seem unrealistic, but of course when is it every day you meet a finely chiseled man that you want to fling yourself on. It just doesn't happen. These romance books are based on unrealistic lives. And I felt so bad for Jane during that time because it was supposed to be about Holly, but I figure every celeb gets that kinda treatment where ever they go.

Well, that's true. And it just so happens that she keeps a travel diary about it. xD
Oh, that's true... but the point of the romance was between Cal and Jane. =P
Mark and Holly's elopement isn't really as exciting compared to Jane's adventures of it. XP
I feel sorry for both Jane and Holly, too. Luckily they were too occupied to dwell on it. xD
Nkay, so I've finished two other books recently - Citizen Girl and Aesop's Fables.
I don't really like Aesop's Fables; they come off as if it's saying that people can't dream, and strive to better themselves, and they can't change anything or bad things will come. Also, it's saying like wise people won't be fooled by stuff, but how would someone know if they're being fooled? xP;;
I know "Aesop"'s ( historians say he may not've actually been one person ) fables have been passed down for a LONG time, so they must be really important and such, not to mention these fables were written a heck of a long time ago, so its views on them then and them now would be different, but I can't help but to feel like the fables are really uptight, and that you can't trust people, and it just feels a little judgmental, too. For example, "What's bred in the bone is sure to come out in the flesh."
The fable is about how a wolf cub was taken in by a shepherd and raised with the dogs, but the wolf still ate his sheep. To me, it's saying that if you're born into something, you can't be anything but. :/
As for Citizen Girl, I didn't really enjoy it. ^^;
It wasn't really my thing. >>;
It's about Girl and her job, which she struggles to keep through all the things My Company goes through, basically. =P;

Every time I watch Tuck Everlasting, I get all teary. But a book SERIES (not just one short book) that ends like that.... srsly cry. ;_;
Cause if she gets all old and dies and Edward's all young and alive.... That's so... sad. DX
I'll shoot Stephenie Meyer!

I've never read Tuck Everlasting and now I definitely don't want to. It's sounds so sad.
Don't worry. Stephenie loves her characters. She wouldn't be that cruel. If she doesn't change into a vampire then another solution will be found. They are soul mates.

The basic concept of Tuck Everlasting is sort of the same.
HIGHLIGHT FOR SPOILERS:Basically, it's about this girl who is about 14, who runs across this family that has been turned immortal. They can't be killed at all. She stays with the family for about a week, and falls in love with the youngest son, who is 17.
The girl's family, of course, notices that she's missing. They send out search parties and such to try to find her.
A man who had been following the two sons (one of them 17, the other in his twenties), because he suspected their secret (immortality) finally catches up to them. Hoping also to cash in on the reward for the missing girl, he tries to run off with her. The mother of the family accidentally kills the man (she meant only to knock him out to free the girl)
The mother is taken to prison, but the family, along with the girl, manage to free her. But the family has to leave the town, or else they'll be caught again.
The youngest boy tells the girl to wait a few years (until she's about seventeen) and then drink the water from the spring that made the family immortal.
But before, when she had been staying with the family, the father had given her a talk about how stale it is to be immortal, and that you're not really living.
She considers it all, and eventually decides not to drink the water, and lives out her life normally.
Many, many years later, the mother and father come back into town to see if the girl is still waiting. They find her grave.
In the movie, it's the boy who comes back and finds her grave (ten times more sad)
So yeah. If Stephenie does that, I'll shoot her.
I mean, if they find some way to unvampirify Edward and have him live as a human with Bella, that's fine. THEY JUST CAN'T BE SEPARATED OR I'LL CHOKE A BITCH.

Yeah, I've got it on DVD. And I just misty eyed EVERY DAMN TIME I WATCH IT. XD
And you're right. Nothing could justify them not being together forever and ever and ever. DX
Unless like, Edward never really loved her. In which case.... I would still want to shoot Stephenie Meyer.
Yeah, it'd sort of be like her giving the middle finger to all her fans. XD; I think we'd probably all organize a kidnapping where we force her to write another sequel where they DO end up together, ala 'Misery'.
If she doesn't comply... we break her ankles or make her drink mop water or something.

Well, it's not like bawl-your-eyes-out sad. The relationship between Jesse and Winnie wasn't like... Bella/Edward caliber, so it's not like "HOMG WHY CANT THEY BE TOGETHER" it's just "Awww, poor Jesse ;_;" because he just gets this heartbroken D: look on his face when he sees her grave.
I think that if the movie had done it so that the ending was true to the book (that his parents found the grave) it wouldn't be quite as sad. Because they're just like "Awww, Jesse will be so sad to hear this." But SEEING his reaction is just... guh.
But still. Not as bad as it could be.
Yeah. She's written herself into a corner. Anything other than what the fangirls want will get her assassinated at this point.
Whoa, srsly? XD That's weird. XD
And mop water was another of the torture things from Misery. *prod* Read it. It's guuuud.

I think I'll try this. Of course, I'll have to attempt to remember what books I've already read this year. xD
Here's what I can remember:
1) Hamlet by Shakespeare
2) Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel
3) The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield
4) In the Lake of the Woods by Tim O'Brien
5) The Boy in the Striped Pajamas By John Boyne
6) The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan
7) The Queen's Soprano by Carol Dines
I think I've read a few others but I can't remember. Also, I'm excited because since I graduate next week I'll have loads more time to read all that I want. ;D

I don't like bad endings so I still don't want to watch Tuck Everlasting if I know they can't be together even it it isn't the same type of relationship the Bella and Edward have.
I know not every ending can be perfectly happy and needs to be realistic but sometimes writers take that too far and have absolutely no sympathy for their creations. One example of that would be John Steinbeck. He hated the world so he had to ruin everyone's lives after working their hopes up plus the way he does it makes me physically ill.

Yeah, but John Steinbeck ruined their lives to prove a point, not just to make his characters miserable. Without listing any specific spoilers, I'd say JK Rowling was worse with how she treated some of her characters in book seven. She just killed some of them off for no reason, whereas Steinbeck tried to use his characters to show how society treats certain groups of people.

Yeah, I can understand that.
Wow. XD
The closest I've ever come to that was with this one story I was working on a few years ago. One of the characters really annoyed me. I didn't like her. She was just so... blah. Boring. And clueless to what was going on. So I made her the first to die. XD
Probably her best scene was the one she died in....

Hurr hurr. Honeymoon. :B
I saw this little icon thingy that was like "Reason to read Breaking Dawn: 2 to 3 page description of Edward naked." XD
Which is like, probably not too far from the truth. Stephenie is very detailed in her descriptions of Edward. XD So we'll probably get lots of little poetic analogies about what his junk looks like. XDDDD
Let's see.... Probably a bit of Rosalie drama. (unless Rosalie has stopped hating Bella. I dunno, I haven't read Eclipse yet! It should be getting here today, though) As you said, TONS of Jacob drama.
Bella will probably manage to get herself into some kind of trouble, of course. Like walking out in front of a moving bus, or falling off an airplane or something. (Yes. You can fall off of airplanes.)
Misery should be pretty easy to find. I found it for like, a dollar at a resale shop. It was really popular, but now it's pretty old. I think it'd be pretty easy to find.

No, no, I know what you mean.
It can't be five hundred pages of a happy ending. There has to be some conflict and stuff. Like how the vampire fights with Laurent's coven were for the first three books.
Maybe there'll be some werewolf/vampire fighting.

Hmm, well, maybe not Jacob. Maybe the other werewolves? Maybe they'll get all "rawr imma bite a cullen fo fun" and then the cullens are all like "nooooo, bitch." and then everything's like POW! BIFF! BAM!
Oh, and speaking of Midnight Sun, did you know that Stephenie has the (somewhat unedited) first chapter on her website?
I read it last night.
Mostly, it's just Edward fighting himself over wanting to kill Bella. But it's still cool.

Yeah, they can't just talk about them all through the series but never introduce them. They've got to come into play eventually!
Yeah. Or he even could try to bite Bella, because she wants to become a vampire, y'know.
